change the world
merry christmas ben. you rock my world.

for month's you've been trying to tell me what you want for christmas. at first i fought you on it, it didn't seem like a christmas gift. you are still young enough for me to want to excite you with stupid stuff.

all you wanted for christmas was to change the world.

you know this already but i'm doing this in a public forum so i'll repeat what you already know. we have an orphanage in haiti. if we don't feed them, they don't eat. it's a life and death thing.

so we bought you what you really wanted. this morning, a world away, 30 orphans, for the very first time in their life, are going to get a christmas present - a small gift and some 5ndy. the card will simply read, "love Ben". it's hard for me to write this without getting choked up.

merry christmas son. you inspire me to make a difference.
i love you.

dad, annette, nate and matty

If this doesn't testify to great parenting and a merciful Saviour... I don't know what does.

Y'all rock.

Ben is an amazing young man. I've watched him grow up, but his Dad has never stopped being a force in his life...Thanks for being a great Dad, so visible in your struggles and your love for your boys...
